Basketball Diaries

I'm beginning to think that UK basketball doesn't deserve my time nor interest. Seriously. If these individuals want some respect, by god they better at least try to earn it. I can say for sure right now that with a performance (if you'd even call it that) like the one they had tonight, they're a long way from getting it.

UAB... University of Alabama-Birmingham.

We celebrated our 100th anniversary last year. We have won 93 NCAA tournament games en route to 7 (count'em 7!) national titles. We are a dynasty. We are UK! The Wildcats! The most winningest team in NCAA history!

Yet...

UAB... University of Alabama-Birmingham.

HELLO? Is this thing on? WHAT THE FUCK?!

Congratulations everyone! A special thanks to the players for obviously wanting it badly enough. Thanks for looking like we still need training wheels after a 26 game winning streak last season.

U-Fucking-A-B

Merry Fucking Christmas Kids! 40 minutes of hell indeed...

At least it wasn't Duke.
