Christmas was ok. I endured my father's girlfriend's family for one evening and made it through without physically assaulting anyone. I received some *really* and I do mean *really* fucked up gifts this year. Needless to say I'm definitely going to have my list out no later than Thanksgiving next time.

I finished "Naked" and have moved onto "Me Talk Pretty One Day", hopefully I can get my hands on "Barrel Fever" soon. The links were updated and some were switched around so just make note of them at your pleasure.

I'm in better spirits since UK beat IU 66-52 today (it wasn't a great win, but a win nonetheless). I'm almost frothing at the mouth for the UK - U of L game. Sorry that my last Blog was so nasty but Duke just ... does something to me. I'm convinced that the 1992 NCAA East Regional Final scarred me for life. Thus, my feelings for Duke are none to pleasant. Not much else to say at the moment ... so I hope everyone has a good and safe holiday and has a fun time celebrating whatever they celebrate! Love you guys!

As much as I adore the Beatles, The Traveling Wilburys became my connection to George Harrison. The band was his brainchild and the record "Traveling Wilburys Vol. 1" was something I listened to constantly when I was growing up, and still do to this day. I feel his death comes at a time when his fans, as well as the rest of the world, need him and his message the most. I just wanted to thank him for his inspiration and for both music he created and the music he was apart of. As of now, my guitar, as well as myself, will gently weep.

Sorry it's been so long since my last update, I haven't found the time until now. Thanksgiving was uneventful at best which I guess is a good thing. I went to Cinncy the other day to see my dad's girlfriend again for the second time and saw their house. Two of her kids were there so I got to meet them and they seemed nice. It was odd though because there was so much stuff from my old house and my childhood there and it seemed so out of place, sort of sacrilegious in a way. So that was an "interesting" evening. Today is a reflective one since it's World AIDS Day which I am observing (Go here World AIDS Day 2001 - AIDS : I care. Do you?). I really scares and pisses me off how high the rates have become in the last few years. It's as if there never was a problem in the first place. I feel like every AIDS-related death has been in vain because for *SOME* reason people *STILL* can't understand that YOU NEED TO USE A FUCKING CONDOM !!!!!!!! Ok I'm going to get off my soap box but believe me, I'm nowhere near finished.
