Industrious Actions

I actually felt rather productive today which is a nice change of pace.

I started off with a trip to the spiritual crib in the morning which gave me much to think about and ponder.

I then hoofed it over to Kashmir for a lunch buffet with The Boy which promptly had me fit to be tied. Buffets are a dangerous thing for me. Only the promise of Kashmir will break me like the unrepentant foodie I am.

Then it was off to CD Central where I found a used copy of Autopilot Off's new CD, "Make A Sound". I promptly scampered off with it for a mere $6. However, I was disappointed because I wanted to get Diana Krall and Jamie Cullum's new CDs respectively but they were too expensive. Normally they don't charge much over the big box retailer price but "The Girl In The Other Room" was priced at $15.99! Did I just walk into freakin' Disc Jockey or something? Yikes! I'm all for supporting local businesses but damn that's way off. Instead I ended up selling my soul to the devil and went to Wally World. I had a gift card that I had received from CKBC for National Medical Laboratory Week that had been burning a hole in my wallet for a while. Oh well... At least it wasn't really my money to begin with. But I digress...

After that I went to the library which isn't exactly shocking (since I can be the bookworm from hell at times) it's just that I really haven't been there in dog years or something to that effect. I was quite amused because when I brought the semi-cute librarian my books at the check-out counter I reached into my wallet for my library card and absently wondered how much everything would cost.

Yeah... Exactly.

Anyway, so then it was back to the abode where ever since then I have been reading and reveling in the beauty, sexiness, and lusciousness that is my Canadian chanteuse. To be frank that woman, no matter what she sings, can put me in the mood the second she opens her mouth.

Yeah I'm gonna let that one slide.

Peace the fuck out y'all!
