Hope everyone had a good holiday. I walked in the parade with NCCJ again this year and man it was hot! It started at 2 but we were so far back that we didn't even begin to walk until 2:45-ish. I think it was around 95 degrees or so. I thought I was going to pass out at one point but I forged ahead. Saw the downtown fireworks on the rooftop of a friend of mine who lives on the corner of Limestone and Maxwell, which was quite nice.

Saddened by the fact that John Frankenheimer passed away. He made one of my favorite films, The Manchurian Candidate.

BTW I received my official letter of admittance from LCC on Wednesday. Yay me!
